Society for Creative Anachronism
Non-profit quasi-medieval/renaissance re-creative organization with chapters throughout the US, Canada, parts of Europe. Many chapters include a form of fencing usually called “rapier combat.” The Ann Arbor chapter has an active fencing group (Cynnabar.org) midrealm.org/marshal/fencing
The Ring of Steel

J. W. Higgins Museum
Jeffrey Forgeng (formerly Singman), curator and longtime researcher of period fencing manuals, leads weekend classes and workshops in German Longsword and other historical fencing techniques year round at this renowned armour museum.
